Post Treatment Effects

Treatment approaches are guided by the nature of the condition. In some instances it is a strong Relaxation focus. However, the majority of cases are experiencing chronic pain. Remedial Therapy aims to clear distortion and strain from overuse, injury, postural and structural anomalies. Entrenched fascial tightness and restriction impacts energetic Qi flow generating subtle thickening and tightening through the connective tissue that escalates to pain and dysfunction. There will be a degree of Relaxation in these treatments...this is normal with hands on physical therapy...yet it may cause temporary discomfort following treatment.

• The first massage is the most intense.

• Lymphatic Drainage accelerates the flow of lymphatic fluid from lymphatic nodes and capillaries into the blood stream. It is common to temporarily feel unwell immediately following this treatment.

• Deep Tissue Therapy stirring deep recesses of our flesh releases toxins into the blood stream and may cause feeling of unwellness until eliminated by kidneys. Generally occurs morning after the first massage...drink plenty water.

• Tight muscles released will be sore for few days. When pain passes condition, strength & flexibility will be improved.

• These effects are temporary & diminish or disappear altogether as condition improves with subsequent massage treatment.

• It is part of the healing process. Clearing postural anomalies, improving energetic Qi flow improves mobility and internal health.
